The world is becoming homophobic due to circumstances and occurrences which we are facing, war, fight, kidnapping and of course killings. While it is important that some of us need to travel, the fear of traveling sometimes overcrowds the fun we ought to have, this article will focus on things we need to consider before leaving home for travelling.

1.Be mindful rearview and mirrors.
Driving involves looking, listening and paying concrete attention in the process. Every Driver should be mindful of rearview and side mirrors, slow down when it comes to winding bends on roads. More attention should be paid to any environment that doesn’t look familiar to the driver.

 

2. Be cautious with traffic light dodgers
Not everyone obeys traffic law; it is very important that as a driver, before leaving your house, you should have it in mind that there are drivers deliberately dodger of the traffic light. For your safety use the three-second rule: when you approach a green light count to three, look all around you and ensure it is safe to continue. The moment or counting will give you more period to notices any car coming without notice.

3. Keep an eye out for children.
One of the most important things to know and keep in mind for a good road safety as a driver in the society is children will often walk around, sometimes outside the area of where their parent gives them the right to. It is now your duty as a driver to ensure you put out for children while driving. Children could step out in front of a school bus, or behind a parked car so drive slowly in areas with street lights and be prepared for all eventualities.

4. Care for your car.
If you need your car, care for the car. Save yourself from accident or any unsafe occurrences. It is important you care for the car too. A well maintained car will often give you a prior notice before giving any sudden fault. As a car owner about leaving your home for a road trip, a work meeting or an outing; it is important you care for your car first. To avoid sudden stops, check your engine oil regularly and keep an eye for any faults on your car’s digital dashboard if you have one.

5. A speed limit.
Before leaving your house, as a driver, you must understand and follow up with your speed limit. While you might be an, expect who can drive faster and be safe. You need to understand that your driving actions will definitely have an impact on other drivers who are on the road with you. So the need to follow the normal speed limit while on the road is very important.

When you are switching lanes on a motorway, indicate several seconds before you change lane to allow other road users time to prepare for your lane change.

The effectiveness of road safety is more achievable when everyone before leaving their homes have it in mind that their are certain law and rules about safety on the road that must not be broken but followed strictly.
