We invite you to join us as a Mechanical Inspector for our project in Abu Dhabi. This position is pivotal to ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical work on-site, playing a key role in maintaining high standards for safety, health, and environmental issues during the project’s execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) from contractors and take appropriate action within the prescribed timelines.
Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
Identify any discrepancies between contractor work and approved drawings, report these issues to stakeholders, and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor the quality of work, assess on-site safety, and ensure compliance with contractual specifications, QCS specifications, and safety and health risk assessments.
Maintain records of daily site activities, including progress photos, and ensure that these records are readily available for inspection when required.
Prepare surveillance reports detailing work deficiencies and non-conformance reports (NCR) as needed.
Ensure effective coordination between mechanical works and other disciplines to avoid conflicts and improve workflow.
Provide technical input and support to resolve any site-specific issues related to the mechanical discipline.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in mechanical inspection with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Previous experience working on major villa projects in the UAE is highly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and relevant codes and standards.
Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and effectively coordinate with other disciplines.
