The Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, Engr. Olalekan Ajani, has stated that effective collaboration among Lagos State Agencies will ensure a drastic reduction in building collapse across the State.
Engr. Ajani stated this during his meeting with the Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, at Safety Arena, Oshodi on Wednesday.
He said that LSMTL was determined to have an effective collaboration with sister agencies, especially LASEMA, towards building a better working relationship.
He explained that effective collaboration among sister agencies will help to prevent the issue of building collapse arising from the use of substandard materials and disregard for rules and regulations for building construction in Lagos State.
