Today we will be pointing out some key safety rules every personnel in the health and safety Industries must familiarize themselves with.
Below are key safety rules you need for daily duties.
1. Ensure you understand how to perform the job and perform it safely.
2.Ensure you know hazards which are related to your job jurisdiction and how to protect yourself. If you are not sure or have questions, ask your supervisor, managers or Professionals on ground.
3. Make sure to report all near misses, incidents, injuries and illnesses without postponment.
4. Always wear the required personal protective equipment necessary for the job E.g Safety glasses are required as minimum eye protection on all jobsites.
6. Always work clear of suspended loads (Ensure all path in the plant are cleared and clean to work through ).
7. Avoid conduction of job or duties which you are not trained on, except there is a professional on ground who gives directions.
8. Always keep your mind and eyes on the task at hand ( Be sensitive to your task while performing them).

9. Be aware of the emergency action plan for your job site as unplanned circumstances can occur.
8. Learn to differentiate what the warning tones are and where to go once you notice any.
9. Obey all warning signs and barricades.
10. Ensure Inspection of all equipment, scaffolds, ladders, lifts, etc. before using. If found to be defective remove from service, find the best and lasting solution to fixing them.
12. Report any unsafe tools, equipment or hazardous conditions to your supervisor.
13. Ensure and affirm good and tidy housekeeping is maintained in your work area.
14. Exercise proper lifting techniques and method for required department.
15. Make sure to operate vehicles in a safe manner and obey site driving rules.

16. Do not perform work under unsafe conditions. Any employee has the right to stop work if they feel it is unsafe.
17. Always keep a positive attitude. This will make the day go better and make you a safer worker.
18. Do not use ladders as scaffolds and never climb so high that it is impossible to hold the top step for support.
Never use a step ladder as a straight ladder.
19. If you see someone doing something unsafe or at risk say something to that employee!.
20. Make sure you practice every safety training to ensure effective result at all time.
