
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, reportedly tests positive for coronavirus.
HSENations reports that this was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of the State on New Media, Gawat Jubril, in a tweet on Monday.
Jubril said that the commissioner was “doing well” and that he was not showing any symptoms.
He added that Abayomi will go into a two-week self-isolation and “home care” but will continue to carry on his job as Deputy Incident Commander.
