The popular Dugbe Market in Ibadan, Oyo State has been razed by fire.

Several shops in the market have been burnt by the raging inferno.
Thick smokes were seen emanating from a building in the market and then accompanied by balls of fire ascending the atmosphere.
The fire in the market is happening in the midst of Coronavirus lockdown in Oyo State.
It was gathered that the fire began around 1:20pm.
According to Premium Times, the fire started from a shop called Pelly Furniture and burnt to other shops that sell artworks, mattresses, designer clothes, bags, pieces of jewellery and glasses.
A man was burnt during the process.
However, there seems to be calmness now as the fire fighters were present almost immediately this afternoon.
Men of the fire service from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the state fire service were seen at the scene of the fire battling frantically to put out the fire.
