Hybrid Group and the Nigerian Air Force have formalized a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote safety competence and awareness through structured Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training for Air Force personnel.
The agreement was signed during a three-day event held from December 4th to 6th, 2024, at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters in Abuja, marking a significant milestone in safety and environmental management within the military.
The partnership will provide personnel of the Nigerian Air Force with valuable skills and certifications in the HSE field. Hybrid-HSE Limited, based in Lagos, will act as the primary consultant and trainer, delivering specialized HSE courses and services tailored to the specific needs of the Air Force.

Key Objectives of the MoU
The agreement outlines several objectives aimed at fostering collaboration and professional development:
- Skill Development: The partnership will offer Air Force personnel opportunities to acquire essential skills and knowledge in HSE, enhancing their competence in safety management and awareness.
- Professional Cooperation: Both parties have committed to working collaboratively and adopting a professional approach to delivering exceptional HSE training and consultancy services.
- Tailored Training Programs: Hybrid-HSE Limited will provide a range of training programs, from general courses to specialized certification courses, designed to meet various levels of expertise within the Air Force.
- Outreach Initiatives: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Hybrid-HSE Limited will assist in conducting HSE outreach programs within Air Force units and secondary schools. While the Nigerian Air Force will cover honoraria and logistics, Hybrid-HSE will bring expertise to these initiatives.
- Long-Term Collaboration: The MoU establishes a three-year framework for ongoing cooperation, ensuring a sustainable and impactful relationship between the two organizations.
The collaboration aims to transform the safety culture within the Nigerian Air Force, aligning its operations with global best practices in health, safety, and environmental management. By fostering a commitment to excellence, the initiative sets a new benchmark for safety training in the military.
