Ibrahim Condoles With Kano Fire Service Over Director’s Death

The Controller General, Federal Fire Service (FFS), Dr. Liman Alhaji Ibrahim, has condoled with the personnel of the Kano State Fire Service over the loss of its Director, Alhaji Sagir Madaki.

The 56-year-old Madaki died at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano on Tuesday after a brief illness.

Spokesman of the service, Alhaji Saidu Muhammed disclosed that the director had been on admission at the hospital for three days before his death.

“The Controller General, Liman Alhaji Ibrahim has expressed his sincere condolence to the Kano State Government and the Kano State Fire Service over the death of Controller Sagir Madaki, the Director, Kano State Fire Service.

“He prayed Allah to grant the People of Kano State and his family the fortitude to bear this huge loss,” the Federal Fire Service said in a Facebook post.

Madaki joined the Kano State Fire Service in1985 and rose to the rank of a Director in October 2017.
