Plane crashed into an ocean in city beach, Australia
Many beachgoers have experienced a plane crash in an ocean at City Beach in Perth, Australia.
It was disclosed that the beachgoers who were out to enjoy the temperature witnessed the crash at about 3.30 p.m Australian time.
The emergency service and the police responded to the plane crash on Saturday.
âThe pilot reported engine troubles before being forced to ditch the small plane into the ocean.
Mr Rimmer spoke to the passenger immediately after the crash, who was astounded to find his mobile phone was still working after the crash.
âHe was very calm and I said to him âdo you need a phone?â. âHe tried his phone and his phone went okay,â he said.
The pair had reported reported engine issues on the light plane just moments earlier and circled the beach several times before ditching in the water in front of stunned beachgoers.
When you survive a plane crash into the ocean, you could be forgiven for thinking your luck had well and truly run out.
But, incredibly, one of the two men who swam to safety after the dramatic emergency landing off City Beach on Saturday has had another unbelievable stroke of luck.

Despite having plumetted into the ocean and having to swim to shore while fully clothed, the 62-year-old passenger of the TA-20 Trinidad light aircraft found his mobile phone still worked.
Brent Rimmer, who was was walking along the beach when the plane came down just 30m from shore, watched as the 70-year-old pilot and his passenger calmly ditched the aircraft in the water and swam to shore.
Mr Rimmer said he congratulated the pilot on his âtextbook landingâ, during which neither the pilot or passenger were injured.
âIt looked just like heâd planned it,â Mr Rimmer said.
âAnd he just gets out and itâs like he just pulled up at the restaurant. It was so casual.
âI said to him if I was going to die in a plane crash Iâd want him as the pilot.â
Air traffic control audio captured the moment the plane crashed into the waves.
The pilot of a different plane witnessed the entire crash and relayed the dramatic scenes to air traffic control.
âWeâve just had an aircraft declare Mayday at City Beach, looks like they might be landing on the beach … can you just observe that for us?â traffic control told the pilot of a Skydive Australia aircraft
âI can see them there. Theyâre very low, looks like theyâre tracking for the beach,â the pilot responded.
âTheyâve just ditched in the water. I saw them ditch in the water probably about 10 metres from the beach.â
Air Traffic Control asked the pilot to âkeep an eyeâ on the evolving situation.
âFoxtrot Mike X-Ray, it looks like there are quite a few people on the beach,â the pilot said.
âThey appear to be travelling towards the aircraft now. Looks like at least one of the pilots has gotten out.
âLooks like both, looks like thereâs potentially two pilots and theyâre both out and the aircraft is in shallow water. It seems to be staying where it is.
âThereâs quite a few people now gathered on the beach and, yeah, theyâre just wading out to help, it looks like.â
âRemarkably, the pair survived and were able to leave the wreckage and swim 20 metres to shoreâ, the report says.
The police disclosed that neither the pilot or passenger was seriously injured.
