Simple ways to organize work life with a basic life schedule
Keeping life organized in relation to work-life can be a lot of work to fix most of the time. Just as swiftly as you move to catch, one ball â say, finances, family commitments, or fun with friends â the next one is hurtling towards you. Unfortunately, some balls are bound to hit the ground: weeks failing to prioritize sleep, fast food instead of meal prep, and procrastinating with low-impact tasks instead of focusing on deep work. But the truth remains that regardless of how busy we find ourselves, we must learn to organize our work life with a basic life routine.

1. Embrace your natural inclination.
Organizing your life and thoughtfully crafting your habits and routines can quickly become self-defeating exercise in aspirational living when you find them in your natural inclination (things that you find easier to do without being forced or persuaded to do them). To organize your life, opt for habits that fit with your natural inclinations. Be realistic about yourself and embrace what you can conceivably commit to for the long haul. A typical example is if you like taking the bus to work, it is more reasonable to wake up early enough to meet the at the bus station than leave late and make use of another form of transportation you are not comfortable with.
2. Consistency over perfection
A lot of reasons why most employees are not able to organize their work- life with their basic lifestyle is placing perfection over consistency. A lot of the time, people are often more concerned with how to achieve a goal in a perfect manner instead of focusing on how to be consistent with it and get a result. Perfectionism does not happen in one day, not even two but comes with a long time of consistent practices. When we fail to meet the unrealistic expectations, we set for ourselves, we throw in the towel altogether. By understanding the impact of incremental progress and the power of compounding effort, we can be more realistic and get more out of life.
3. Create a balance.
While we are focussed on organising our work- life in conjunction with our basic lifestyle, sometimes we forget to create a balance between both. While this strategy can work in the short-term, the long-term impacts eventually rear their ugly heads: stress, burnout, and lethargy. Instead, prioritize long-term sustainability with balance and self-care. Things to put into consideration include;

– Avoid overextending yourself and spending too much time at work.
– Prioritize physical activity for its mood-boosting effects
Try meditation, journalling, or cultivating a gratitude practice.
– Spend time with friends and family.
– Unwind alone with a good movie or book.
– Ensure youâre getting enough sleep and avoid all-nighters at all costs.
4. Make space available.
Some of the chaos we feel in our lives is the result of too much stuff, too much to do, too much to think about. Consider this when aiming to organize your life. One of the best ways to organize our work life with a basic lifestyle is by decluttering our environment, creating enough space for good view and good sight, free air and easy movement.

5. Experiment New Things.
Things don’t work out sometimes while Other times they don’t work out because they have gone stale. These are the best times to introduce novelty to our lives and shake ourselves from a routine that just isnât working anymore. A constant eye on experimentation will bring excitement to life and break you out of periods of plateau.
